Shea joined UpShift in the earlier days of 2015. He brings both extensive industry experience and zen-style mentorship to the development team. He’s always on the hunt for innovative solutions, and helps ensure UpShift’s ongoing education and commitment to delivering the latest technology and best practice to our clients. He is an active member of the open source community, creating freely available software modules used by thousands of other developers. Shea has a strong interest in community, personal and collective wellbeing, and is the technical lead developing smart composting infrastructure with Community Compost in Nelson. When not at work, Shea can be found outdoors pottering in his vege garden or exploring the natural world with his young family.
