The Western Wood Preservers Institute of America collaborated with environmental consultants Maul Foster & Alongi and Oregon State University to deploy a scientific model that predicts the environmental impact of using treated timber construction in water.
We were excited to be approached by Maul Foster & Alongi to develop a web application for the project where users can calculate possible environmental impacts online. We enjoyed the challenge of combining a mathematically complex scientific model with a clean and functional website.
The website was built using Silverstripe CMS with large amounts of custom functionality including a fully configurable scientific model, dynamic results and a PDF report creator. It is currently hosted by Oregon State University.
I’ve seen first-hand how skilled your team is at executing such jobs. Getting all the math and complex relationships straight is no small feat on its own. But on top of that, your team creates beautiful, elegant, engaging interfaces.
