Sarah Lin joined the UpShift team in 2022 after offering to ‘write a little bit’ for Tama. (After a decade of friendship, she probably should have known better). Needless to say, the role became a little larger. Sarah’s career has spanned journalism, communications, public relations and authorship. She is the only member of the team who does not play well with technology and frequently yells for help. Luckily, she’s surrounded by brilliant people who can ‘make the computer do the thing.’ 

Recent rewarding job:
“I get the chance to chat to all of our clients so I can write about UpShift’s work – for example, interviewing Dr Susie Wood from Cawthron Institute about our Lakes380 web app. It’s very satisfying to hear how the tools UpShift builds are a vital part of positive change.”
