What's the process of working with UpShift on my app?

Brief

When you initially make contact with us, we'll take your existing brief and request any other important information we need about the goals and requirements of your app. If you need help communicating your requirements, our team can guide you through building a brief.

Scope

With a clear objective in place, we can scope out what the app development project is going to look like - timelines, costs, approach and app specifications. We will also help clearly define what’s in and out of scope - so you have complete clarity as to the project’s purpose at any time.

Architecture

At this stage we plan out how we'll build the app, including the technical requirement, structure, and front end user experience. We involve you closely in this stage, ensuring our build will satisfy all stakeholder's needs.

Design

Our team will then embark on the visual design and UX of the application. UpShift draws upon its design and technical prowess to deliver a perfectly integrated design that mixes function and form.

Develop

With the structure and appearance confirmed, it's time to build your app. Our team applies best practice to create apps with clean, clear code. We’ll also apply any required integrations to your back end systems or APIs.

Test

We then throw everything at our build to try and break it, surface bugs and ensure the user experience is exactly as intended. In this stage we'll include both technical and end user testing. All in the name of delivering a much more polished final product.

Deploy

With all the work to create your app done, our team supports pushing the product live - in whatever medium the app is intended for. With hundreds of projects under our belt, we’re well-equipped to guide you through the whole process of taking your product live.

Maintain

We don't just deliver and run. Our client relationships are long term in most cases, providing the ongoing support around your app. This includes technical updates as well as responding to feature requests or training your team.
